Wha We Don't Do

We specialize in design, problem solving, prototyping, and blueprints, but we also have many skills with fabrication and installation.  Our facilities include 3D printers, laser cutters, woodshop, milling machines and lathes, and a paint booth.

If we don't have the capabilities in-house, we work with a wide array of local fabricators and overseas factories that can make your custom parts.

If you already have a preferred fabricator, we will happily work together with them to get your part made correctly.

We can also help with selecting and sourcing pre-made components and off-the-shelf parts that will interface with your custom parts, such as hinges, toggles, and latches.

Pricing

We like transparent pricing.  Our rate is a flat $100/hr.

Most jobs take between 10 - 100 hours, depending on size and scope.  This may sound like a lot, but getting exactly what you want, and getting it right the first time, costs less in the end.

Give us an idea of your budget for your project and we can help come up with a solution that satisfies your desires and your pocketbook.

Joe W. Reed
Owner | Designer | Sailor

Vessel Visions was created by Joe W. Reed.

After working as an industrial design consultant for over 15 years, Joe decided to turn his design skills and manufacturing knowledge toward his passion for boating.

Recognizing there was a need to fill the gap between boat owners wanting to make their boat to their liking and fabricators who can make the necessary parts, Vessel Visions was formed.
